What first began as one newcomer’s interest to meet and connect with her neighbors evolved into the KTown Ladies (KTL). KTL is a homegrown, non-profit social group. Our mission is to enrich the lives of Kensington residents through year-round social events, neighborhood engagement, and community involvement.

WHAT WE DO
We organize and cohost socials with local businesses and residents that create opportunities for women in Kensington and surrounding areas to meet and connect with each other.
Our get-togethers are engaging, inclusive, and most important, fun! They serve to introduce newcomers to the unique variety of retailers, eateries, and businesses that Kensington offers.
We partner with the Town of Kensington in organizing and promoting the following annual and ongoing events:
- Opera at the Circle
- Light Up KTown
-Trash to Treasures Day
- Development and Updating of Neighborhood Directory
- Distributing New Neighbor Welcome Gifts
On a yearly basis, we adopt a local nonprofit to support. We also support and collaborate with a variety of local organizations and businesses which include:
Friends of Warner Circle
The Jubilee Association
Kensington Historical Society
The Woman’s Club of Kensington
Noyes Children’s Library
We welcome your involvement on any level. Dip your toes in a little by attending one of KTL’s monthly events. Dive in deep by joining a committee to help organize one of our annual events or offering to host a KTL monthly social.
Not a resident? Not a problem. You do not have to live in 20895 zip code to take part: All are welcome! There are no dues or membership fees. We kindly ask that you bring a beverage of choice to share at our monthly events or make a small contribution to help us cover our costs.
Please feel free to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to learn more about attending or hosting one of our monthly events.
Welcome! We look forward to meeting you!
